I hate this phrase, and I don’t understand how anyone can take it seriously. Slaughter isn’t even a euphemism! And there is no way that any type of human murder would ever be called “humane.” Along with “humane slaughter,” I would group some other, less blatantly offensive terms:”grass-fed,” “organic” and “local” meat, “free-range eggs,” etc. [...]
